Insurance at home emergency cover is covered by most insurers by a useless company called CES, who are completely useless to those with disabilities. I am sure reasonable adjustments are needed.
I have one thing to say to CES, you are completely useless.
It woud appear after talking to Which about the best Insurance companies, who were a bit clueless at to an answer and then I contacted all of the bigger Insurance companies directly and by myself, there was a considerable level of people who clearly did not care, but the general consensus was that this one company called CES had a monopoly with all of the Insurance companies, and therefore if you want breakdown cover you might as well choose the cheapest company as they are all rubbish at providing this cover.
II should point out they did not know who I was when I contacted them even though I had been with Churchill for over five years.
There does not appear to be an accessible option, even after mentioning I was going to be in hospital the following morning when they were making the appointmen, which was cancelled by myself for obvious reasons.
I now have a new claim through this company and will let you know how I get on, and whether they help at all.
My third call to this company was a vast improvement on the previous two. This agent found my insurance which the previous agent did not have a clue.
I also explained my issues in the past, and I did not want the same plumber / engineer.
Interestingly the same engineer turnes up. I was not expecting too much, but he was very good. He found a leak from a radiator in the living room, and spent some time with us. A positive.
